come join us from 1-3P on Sunday, March 22nd at Second Street Brewery for a one-of-a-kind event. during this workshop, we’ll be going over embroidery techniques designed to embellish, up-cycle and bring new life to your favorite digs :)
this class is suited for beginner stitchers as well as seasoned stitchers that would like to expand their arsenal to include new techniques. we’ll be delving into up-cycling techniques, font embroidery, visible mending and different embroidery stitches and tips n’ tricks to make your clothes entirely your own
your ticket includes:
our starter kit: a 4” hoop, practice fabric, needle, needle-threader in a canvas bag (all yours to take home!)
a huge array of thread, fabric, transfer supplies and all supplies needed for your project
we’ll provide some simple stickable “stick and stitch” designs but you’ll also be invited to draw your own with water soluble markers/chalk pens!
two hours of “hands on” instruction
feel free to bring your favorite jean jacket, tote bag or shirt with the wine stain and you’ll be guided on how to make ‘em look as good as new. don’t worry, we’ll be doing a practice run first! we can’t wait to stitch with you and see what you make :)
